Norman Rockwell museum of Massachusetts in Stockbridge was founded way back in the year 1969 and last more than two decades of his life he lived in Massachusetts He started living here from 1953 onwards The society’s main interest lies in the historical collections of any category. The artiste established a trust which he decided to hand over to this Society This was a trust which was responsible to preserve all his legacy of art form once he would be no more This is what makes this museum world class and stand apart from the others , which do not have his original artwork or have maybe just one or two pieces These 574 original paintings are the main assets of this museum. This collection includes many original paintings done by him in different years o his life

He had a studio in Stockbridge which was at another site From the month of May through October, this place is flooded with people who come in great numbers to see the original art done by Norman Rockwell. When you visit this museum you also get to see some of his personal belongings that have been displayed there You will be delighted to see other Rockwell items, as many as one thousand of them These precious archives include working pictures, both of the artiste himself and of the photos, which he used to create his paintings and drawings All those fan mails and some business related documents too have been put up for display, which gives you an insight into the life of the artist.
